Client Relationship Leader

Location:
Seeking candidates in several geographic markets including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Orlando and Philadelphia

Position Overview:
Drive overall revenue growth for HealthCare Benefits through direct business development activities. Play a lead role in the delivery of services and ongoing strategic management of relationships. Think strategically about opportunities to expand our portfolio of solutions through innovation, visibility, and entry into new markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Business Development Responsibilities 

  • Primary focus is to identify and develop new client relationships for HealthCare Benefits by creating opportunities for meetings with prospective clients.
  • Provide strategic input on the best ways to engage prospective clients
  • Research, identify and develop potential referral sources.
  • Research and identify potential channel/distribution partners (i.e., technology firms, healthcare related organizations, complementary partners, etc.).

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary client relationship leader for all clients that are developed directly.
  • Coordinate the delivery of services to clients and ensure that we meet/exceed their service level expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and expand relationships with clients.
  • Conduct annual planning sessions with clients and ensure that we execute the actions required as outlined in the annual work plan.

Sales/Market Strategy

  • Provide strategic input as part of the ongoing identification and evaluation of new products and services.
  • Bring forward new, innovative ideas that help foster improved service to clients and enhanced value.
  • Review and offer input on our sales/marketing collateral to ensure that our story is being told effectively.
  • Identify and conduct the necessary due diligence/research to build a strong new business pipeline.

HealthCare Benefits Support

  • The candidate will have full access to business development resources of the firm, including sales support, sales collateral & presentations, meeting support, etc.
  • The firm will provide technical consulting, day-to-day client management, and customer service support for all client engagements developed by the candidate.

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Our ideal Client Relationship Leader will be a polished professional with a proven track record for developing new client relationships and managing ongoing relationships with clients.   The candidate must possess the ability to work autonomously and have experience working in a decentralized business environment.
While experience in the human resource/benefits arena is ideal, it is not a requirement for this role.  An ideal candidate will have a history of selling consulting services to senior level executives (e.g., Chief Financial Officer, SVP of Human Resources) across a broad range of industries.  Experience within the hospital/healthcare industry is a positive.
